Urban Forestry Data Collection Standards Under Development
On July 27, 2010 at the recent International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Conference in Chicago, Illinois, an update on the progress of the International Urban Forestry Data Collection Standards was delivered by David Nowak and David Bloniarz, of the research community. During the presentation, the updated timetable for development of Version 1.o of the Standards was presented and its content outlined. It is expected that the final release of the initial Standards document will be released in January, 2011.
